Richard Schmon
Founder & Creative Director
Richard Schmon has spent more than three decades telling stories through film, photography and brand creative. He began his career in film and television, working for 13 years on productions including Elf and X-Men, before joining the creative team behind the world’s largest online eyewear retailer for five years.

Over the following decade, Richard built a career as a commercial photographer and filmmaker, creating work for brands and publications including The North Face, Lululemon, Vogue, National Geographic and The Washington Post. He founded Aurora Creative to bring that depth of experience—strategy, storytelling and world-class visual craft—directly to ambitious brands.
